Careers Education
You will have to make difficult choices about your career aims, such as which employment path to follow and/or what courses to apply for. This often means you need some advice from someone who has a thorough knowledge of careers and training opportunities and who is able to help you make decisions.A Careers Advisor from the Careers Service Connexions will come in regularly during term-time. They will be making contributions to your tutorial programme and you can also book individual appointments with a Careers Advisor.
We have a wide range of helpful information and a careers library, some of it computer based. We encourage you to come and look through this information at any time, on your own or with the help of the Careers Advisor or your tutor.
We also offer help and support with job applications. These sessions are extremely useful in preparing you for applying for the world of work.
