Post 16 Netball

Post 16 Netball and Enrichment has got off to a flying start this year seeing a great numbers of students participating and representing the school!! Ashton Park have entered a number of leagues for friendly and competitive matches in and around Bristol which has seen us come up trumps with a number of wins already!!

We came close runners up in the Post 16 Bristol Tournament held at City Academy, out of 12 teams in total, seeing off some very challenging opposition. Recently Ashton have had some convincing wins over Badminton School and Churchill School, showing that we are a tough side to reckon with! The competition ends with a tournament at Bath University, so watch this space…….

(Unfortunately the one match that the girls have lost this year had been to the challenging Post 16 boys Netball team, but the girls have been in secret training ready for the next game)!!
